Biography
Cherish Finden is an internationally acclaimed pastry chef, TV judge and pastry consultant with over 30 years of experience at the highest level of the industry.
Renowned for her artistry, precision and uncompromising standards, she is best known as a judge on Channel 4’s Bake Off: The Professionals, where she has appeared across all 11 series.
A highly decorated chef, Cherish led Singapore’s pastry team to victory at the 2000 IKA Culinary Olympics, winning eight gold medals.She has since earned more than 25 international medals, including 18 golds.
Her accolades include Best Afternoon Tea in the UK, Pastry Chef of the Year and the Macallan Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2026, she became Chair of Pastry Judges for both National Chef of the Year and Young National Chef of the Year.
A passionate mentor, educator and advocate for pastry, Cherish continues to advance the craft through her consultancy, judging and creative work. Her approach reflects a belief that exceptional pastry requires not only precision and technical mastery, but also imagination, emotion and a compelling sense of story.
